The gauge through the frog and the guardrail is within NMRA standards.
Our interpretation of the NMRA Standards puts the gauge in the middle between the high and low limits of the tolerance. We believe that this will provide for the maximum amount of variance with the equipment (wheels) operating through the turnout.
As manufactures seem to struggle to produce wheelsets consistently in gauge, our trackwork is likely to perform well with wheelsets slightly out of specification. We recommend that you check and adjust all the equipment intended for use with our trackwork for proper tolerance with an NMRA gauge.
